Earnings

Compare filed quarterly results, growth, margins, and cash generation for the linked symbol.

What Earnings Shows

Earnings is a historical quarterly-results view for the symbol linked to the pane. It reads filed statement data already stored by StockVyze and presents the newest quarter first.

Use it to compare:

  • revenue and diluted EPS growth,
  • revenue and diluted EPS,
  • gross and operating margins,
  • net income and EBITDA, and
  • operating cash flow, capital expenditures, and free cash flow.

The summary cards show the latest available revenue TTM, revenue growth, operating margin, and free cash flow TTM.

Earnings does not provide an earnings calendar, announcement times, estimates, surprises, reminders, or transcripts.

  1. Press Cmd/Ctrl + K and search for Earnings.
  2. Add the tool to a pane.
  3. Link or set the pane symbol using the normal workspace symbol controls.

The pane follows symbol-linking behavior used by other symbol tools. Changing the linked symbol starts a separate request for that symbol; values from the previous symbol are not reused.

Earnings is shown in the palette only when your product entitlement enables it. A saved pane without access displays Replace Tool instead of loading data.

Read the Matrix

Quarter columns are labeled by fiscal identity when the filing provides it, such as FY26 Q2. The period-end date is shown beneath the label. Depending on pane width, the matrix shows four, six, or eight quarters. You can scroll the matrix horizontally and vertically while its metric labels and quarter headers remain visible.

Monetary values use the filing's ISO reporting currency when known. Negative values use parentheses. A displayed zero is an observed zero, while an em dash () means the value is missing.

Growth cells can also show N/M (not meaningful). This occurs when the comparison base is zero or a loss, so a percentage would be misleading. A current-period loss against positive prior EPS can still produce valid negative growth.

YoY and TTM Rules

StockVyze computes YoY and trailing-twelve-month values on the server from stored statement facts. It does not invent missing quarters.

  • YoY requires a matching prior-year fiscal quarter.
  • TTM requires four exact, contiguous fiscal quarters.
  • Every required operand must be present.
  • Ambiguous fiscal identities suppress identity-dependent calculations.
  • Known mixed reporting currencies suppress cross-period calculations and trend colors.

Raw quarterly facts remain visible when a safe derived value cannot be calculated.

Freshness and Reloading

The footer identifies the data provider, the statement-change checkpoint, and when the symbol snapshot was refreshed. The pane continues to show the newest stored results when the scheduled statement check is behind the latest completed market day.

The reload button fetches the current stored REST result again. It does not call the data provider or trigger a fundamentals refresh.
